Best Haircut. I got my hair cut/styled by Jo Hochstein and she was AWESOME!!! She knew I was very nervous about having my hair cut and was very understanding and patient. Mind you we laughed a lot. I told her that my boyfriend likes long hair and he's probably going to kick me out because now my hair is short. She gave me her phone number and asked me to call her to let her know how my b/f liked/hated it. Will be going back to Jo. I LOVE my haircut!! I would recommend JO.

Never Again. Went there for a massage. The therapist came in the room smelling like cigarettes and then she talked the ENTIRE TIME...about herself and the problems she was having. I left feeling more stressed than before.

Savvy is the best!. I don't know what the person before me was talking about. I had the best time! My boyfriend surprised me with a spa package for my birthday. Everyone was so nice expecially the owner. They thought of everything!! I loved my massage and facial so much that I added on a color and haircut. By the time that I left, I felt and looked great! I had heard about this salon from a co-worker and hinted to my boyfriend. I am also going to start my daughter in dance classes because they also have a dance studio that is the cutiest....

I will never go anywhere else!

bad bad bad. Had heard good things about this salon for quite a while and finally decided to try it. The experience was not good at all. The staff was not very pleasant and the owner was not overly friendly at correcting my disappointment with my services. I didn't want anything for free, just an apology would have been nice. By the time I left it seems my bad experience was placed on my shoulders. They also didn't have any of the products they advertise. Hardly no Aveda and no Dermologica. The whole experience was not good and I wouldn't recommend this salon to anybody.

Best salon/spa in town great stylists. Friendly atmosphere, nice setting. They understand hair types. A friend of mine told me about the bad review that was on this site, I couldn't believe it. I go to this Salon/Spa for all my needs, pedi's, mani's. facial's. cut/color, etc.. I have never been treated rudely, always polite and yes while there have been smokers out front it was never by any doorway and they were always polite and moved away from the walkway when anyone strode by. I used the past tense, with the smoking ban taking effect I have not seen any smoking outside the building. I love the that the nail boutique is separate from the salon, who wants to smell a perm when you're getting your nails done. I was concerned about the prices with how much I wanted (needed haha) done, but have found Savvy to be reasonably priced in all areas. All three area's are exceptionaly clean with great atmosphere. Women comment on my hair/color and I always recommend the salon. The owner always recognizes me and makes sure that she comes by the station to inquire about my family. I love going to the Salon/Spa they make me feel and look like a queen. As you can see I am at the salon every two weeks and have found the people respectful, nice and caring. I have not heard the "drama" as written in a previous review so maybe it's a former employee who was creating the drama and was asked to leave?

Money will be better spent at Gadabout, Ventana Canyon, or Elizabeth Arden's Red Door. Rude. The receptionist and later the owner of the salon were both very rude and talking about other employees in front of clients. Not the best way to show professionalism. Receptionist should probably not smoke in front of the door of the salon. Tucson has banned smoking in restaurants, bars, etc., but the employees at Savvy feel free to smoke out front of the salon all the time. It seems like everyone that I know, who has ever been there says that there has been some sort of drama going on when they were there. Also, the website and brochure seem really nice, but when you pull up in front of this place which is located across the parking lot from a seedy bar, you will be disappointed. The salon only has plain white walls and the spa, nail spa, and salon are all NEXT DOOR to each other... not even connected. When you have a spa treatment done, you have to walk OUTSIDE in a robe from one place to the next. The location, layout, and premises do not solicit the advertised prices. Money will be better spent at Gadabout, Ventana Canyon, or Elizabeth Arden's Red Door

Rude Smoking Staff. I have been to the salon twice and was disapponted the first time by how rude the receptionist was but gave the place a second chance. Not only was she just as rude and unfriendly but she, the nail girl and the hair dresser all smelled of smoke. It was not at all the experience I was looking for and I would not recommend this place to anybody. The worst part was after I had paid, the receptionist escorted me outside only to continue smoking. I will never be back.

Went in for a haircut, came out with the whole package!!!. I don't usually get too worked up about getting my hair cut, that was until I had the owner of Savvy Salon (Janine) give me a trim. She is professional, friendly, and in spite of how busy the place was, she was on time. I found out that Savvy is not only a salon, but they also offer day spa services. I ended up getting "The Escape" package for my wife along with a massage session for myself. We are both very satisfied with the services and how clean everything was. I will be recommending Savvy to friends and family.

Best Experience Ever. Wow!! There is nothing else to say but wow after the day I had at this shop. The services were the best I have experienced in a very long time. I treated myself to a spa day and was so very impressed with the staff, the cleanliness of the salon and spa, and the overall atmosphere. I have been to several spas in my life and this definitely ranks among the best. I especially love the atmosphere of the place as a whole. I can't wait to go back. I also really liked the variety of services they have to offer, big selection and lots of up to date treatments. Being over 40 I like that they have collegene and botox type treatments without the needle. Before I left they also let me know of upcoming services they are going to offer. I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for some great pampering.

Avoid Waxing!. Beware if using Savvy for the waxing services. I went for a simple eyebrow wax and walked out with part of my inner eyebrow ripped off! The salon is truly LOVELY so I felt confident going in, as I had just moved to the area. The gal who serviced me not only took off 1/3 rd of my eyebrow but her hands were reaking of cigerettes which did not make for a pleasant experience.
