I paid off my car, and now I cannot get my Title to give to the new owners, they are getting suspicious that I am pulling a 'fast-one'. Vantage West keeps lying to me about the title--IT'S IN THE MAIL Hey Vantage, in ain't in the mail, you keep lying to me. If I missed a payment, you would be all overly sweet *ss. WHERE'S MY DAMN TITLE!!!???
I have a auto loan through Vantage West and I got injuried on the job a month ago. I called the credit union to see if I could work out an arragement to either suspend payments for a couple months or pay the interest only for a couple months while I was out of work. I advised them that I had proof from my doctor about my extensive injury and I would be happy to provide them with the proof. After they took my information about my payments and income I was advised that, "it doesn't appear that you will be able to make your payment even in three months so it doesn't do us any good to help you now". I was shocked!! I told the financial person that he couldn't tell what would happen in three months any more than I could. I told him that I would be happy to pay the interest so they were at least getting that and I again was told that, "it doesn't do us any good to get that if you can't pay the full amount in three months". So...basically Vantage West would rather get NOTHING from you and take your vehicle back then attempt to help you and get money while you are in trouble. By the way...for the record...I work at a job that serves the communtiy and make 20 plus dollars a hour....so...I would have been able to make my payment when I went back to work full time. I wouldn't use Vantage West for ANYTHING...they don't care about making money...so much as screwing you over when you need help. Reminds me of the mortage companies and the problems people are having with keeping their homes.
Unscrupulous!. Sorry, but I have to disagree with any positive reviews of this bank. After recently making a large purchase our balance was low and we overdrafted in a total dollar amount less than $25. It happened over a weekend and was seen when the items cleared Monday. Rather than using a chronological method to calculate the overdraft fees they used larger deductions first and then charged five separate overdraft fees. There are currently some lawsuits out there against banks for using this practice. This never happened with PNC (a large east coast bank) or Bank of America. They were also derogatory towards me when I called to resolve the issue. I already feel bad for overdrafting, how is making me feel worse any type of customer service? The purpose of the call was to address the issue and prevent a future occurrence. Instead the teller told me I was spending Vantage West's money. Hmm, wonder where that comes from? Maybe your exorbitant fees and attempts to shame customers into thinking they deserve them. What I will be doing to changing back to "the big evil bank" who was willing to work with me the ONE time I overdrafted with them in 2 years. Sorry I ever left you Bank of America, it left me with a headache!
Charge me overdraft fees when my account was in the positive. I couldn't understand why this bank had charge us $29.00 nine times when they started our account was positive $215.00. I called them and asked to be informed that is how they do business. I have never heard of such a thing but I am closing my account. There should be some kind of law against raping people. My husband is in the military and since they are afflicated with them we thought we would use them. I wonder is Davis-Monthan AFB knows they rip people off.
Horrible credit union.
I have had accounts at 5 different banks and credit unions over the course of my life and have never been treated worse or charged more asinine fees than at Vantage West Credit Union.
There policies are terrible and they make a practice of hiring the most rude, unintelligent and obnoxious people available. I've rarely if ever had good customer service. If you have an issue and ask for a manager they just put you on hold and in the end you get nowhere. Go anywhere else and you'll probably have a better experience.
