poor service and overpriced. After spending thousands of dollars on landscaping, I had to redo the irrigation system and replant all trees. They did not guarantee anything. Look elsewhere.
All Around Best Nursery & Landscapers. I love going to visit the folks over at Magic Garden Nursery. They are quite experienced, knowledgeable and friendly. Being from a completely different eco system and climate zone, I had a lot to learn about my landscape and garden. I like that they stopped me from buying plants that would not grow in my area. They helped me determine the best choices, they have an extremely large selection and I have a totally awesome property, with a huge vegetable garden now. The Nursery could actually be a destination in and of itself. The grounds are so pretty and I LOVE THAT DUCK! Thanks to all the staff there - you have really helped me grow into an avid gardener.
Excellent quality, great service. I first started going to this nursery last year. I have been redoing my yard after many years of neglect by previous owners. The people at Magic Garden have been so patient and helpful, really with me every step of the way. They tell me exactly what I need to succeed. I am slowly turning my yard into the vision I had in my mind. Every plant and tree I have purchased has done exceptionally well. The prices are very fair, even though I am on a budget I have been able to stretch my dollars. I highly recommend getting all your garden supplies and plants here!
NICE TREES BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!. Worst experience I have ever had. They planted a $200 tree plus hefty installation cost then did not stand behind there guarentee. Tree died after 4 months and they would only give half off to transplant new tree in the same location when they knew the new tree would also not survive there. Buyers beware they will find a reason to blame you.
very helpful. .I only had a question and they were able to guide me through and refer me in the appropriate direction. Great customer service.
I was very impressed.
This place was great. I called a few places looking for a specific citrus tree. Magic Garden was the only place who had what I wanted and their price was MUCH better than the others. As soon as I walked in, I was asked if I needed help. And I did, since this was my first purchase of desert plants. I was shown exactly what I was looking for. I then wanted to just wander around and look. Each employee I ran across also asked if I needed any help or had any questions. I had lots of questions and they were all answered with great detail, but with absolutely no pressure to buy anything.
I received very detailed instructions on planting and care of the things I purchased. I was also told that if I couldn't remember all that to just call them, or to call any time I had questions.
The experience could not have been better. I'll go there again, with no hesitation.
Local horticulturist and native Tucsonian runs a nursery that defines a lush desert..
The Scene
If the term desert makes you think of sand dunes, one visit here will change your perception drastically. Highly landscaped variety practically assaults your senses at this nursery, started by horticulturist Tony Sarah, a graduate of the University of Arizona in Tucson. The newest sprout on staff has 12 years of experience. You can't fail in creating your garden oasis if you visit this store and pick the fertile brains of the staff here.
The Goods
It would be easier to list what they don't have. Native plants are a given. But you'll also find the citrus, nut and fruit trees that do well in the desert. If water is your thing, they carry water garden plants and pre-formed ponds. And there's a large selection of pottery.
