Perfect Getaway Location. My husband & I cancelled our vacation last summer (you know, the whole economy thing), but felt we deserved a getaway, so settled on a "Staycation".

We had heard great things about The Catalina Park Inn from friends, and had actually met Paul & Mark at a social gathering. We booked a long weekend with them.

Let me just say that this Inn is the epitome of sumptuousness ~ Paul & Mark have impeccable taste, the Inn is beautifully & very comfortably furnished, and the grounds are desert-landscaped with conversation areas situated throughout. What an inviting ambiance!

Breakfast each morning is different from the day before and is delicious ~ made for and served to each individual guest (no cold and clammy eggs served in a warming tray).

Catalina Park Inn is also centrally located, so it's very easy to head out in the afternoons and evenings for attractions close by. In addition, Paul & Mark have menus and information about great local restaurants, most of which they've visited, so they're able to give a "personal" review.

After our stay at the Inn, my husband and I agreed that we deserve a staycation getaway at least once a year. We plan to return to Catalina Park Inn every anniversary of the lovely weekend we had there this year.
