Boycott and honest locally owned business? I have to agree with Joe U., these guys can be pretty blunt but thats because theyre honest. Theres no BS at this place which is why its my shop for sure.

BOYCOTT THIS FRANCHISE. I have been in the Moon asking about various products only to be met with attitude or a blank stare. Thinking I was taking it to personally, I have talked to several people who have now boycotted the franchise because of the condescending attitudes. I am in fact following those same people in the boycott. I urge all that read this to do the same.

I'm not the best reviewer as I don't expect much but.... I expect Honesty.

That's what I ask for, and that's what I get at this place.

Maybe, as I'm “only 40,” I expect a different kind of Honesty than you do.

Every time I've entered this establishment, I've exited with exactly what I've expected to get; even if it's not Top Shelf, and only within a few dollars of “Internet-price.” I always get exactly what I pay for here. Mostly based on staff-suggestion/my-own-experience. And, it's always my decision!

I find the staff to be honest. Not rude.

Maybe this kind of honesty seems “blunt” to you but, I see it as a good thing. I see it as, 'they aren’t trying to rip me off.' If anything it's always with an edge of humor, in my experience. Which is something I appreciate. It's something I see it so rarely in my every-day shopping experience, I enjoy the small jokes we have.

If you are stupid enough to buy a P.O.S. they will *try* to tell you so! To your face! Maybe you take this as “rude” but... they are entrusted to make a sale; so they *can't* talk you out of it! They are trying to do you a FAVOR!

Anyway: That's been my experience with them.

I don't personally know anybody there.

I've never been stupid enough to have to ask for “Management.” If anything I'd expect a member of Management to just want to toss me out in that situation! I trust their advice and always take it with a grain (or shaker-full) of salt. YMMV.

If you are like minded, this is a great place to shop!

If you need to be hand-held through every-little-step-along-the-way... piss off! This is a shop for the grown-ups.

Very nice store and the staff was very professional. The store had a huge selection of cigarettes, cigars, pipes and any other smoking device that you could want. I really liked the layout of the store, and the staff were all very professional.

Manager needs an intervention and it aint for weed!. Damn the post above mine is messed up! That dude did not hit me in my face. But now that I think about it, he did slap the counter violently as he scampered away . Either way, I think hes influencing those impressionable youngsters who work there because I noticed a few of them sticking their chest out and making what I can only fathom would be deemed a "Gangsta grill". Shame.

Best Tobacco shop in town. First, I want to say that the previous reviewer who gave a low score to the store due to a personal upset (that had nothing to do with the store itself) should not vent online about it. She said that she liked the store before the incidents with the person connected with the store, so she should have evaluated the store as itself, not based on an individual's personal actions.

The store itself and the employees I encountered are top notch!

Best prices and service anywhere. i have been going to Moon for over ten years, not only cos of their low prices, but mostly cos of their excellent customer service . whether yer at stone, or grant and alvernon, or the east side, those guys really know their stuff and are always helpful and friendly . I have recomended Moon to many friends, can't beat their prices and service *

I had at one time highly recommended this smoke shop. I would even refer a lot of people to shop there because their cigarettes are a lot cheaper. However, I had a terrible experience with the General Manager there and wont ever return, nor do I urge anyone else to.The manager had become infatuated with me, and when I didn't return the sentiment, he had proceeded to stalk me over a course of eight months. He would send his friends to my job to ask me about him, I would turn around while driving down the street and I've seen him behind me twice. He would spy on me, and eavesdrop via the security cameras. His friends would follow me and harass me--remember, the staff members are in their early twenties. One day, I had enough, and decided to confront him and he struck me in the face, picked me up, and threw me out of the store. None of the other employees said or did anything to stop him. He then turned and put a "restraining order" on me that I have never received. Not only will I not return, but the defamation of character still haunts me here in town. I should have called the police and possibly sued the business, but I didn't want to do anything that might compromise my safety. I moved to the other side of town.I know this may sound like propaganda, but ask them, you'll know it's true. If you wish to support such a business based on their lower prices, do so. Granted, I should have stayed away despite the lower prices but I never dreamed it would ever escalate this far. This is my review
