the Best. The pizza is prepared like your classic Brooklyn Pizza, and it's made fresh when you order. The staff is friendly and the price is right. never a long wait.

Gotta love Brooklyn. I lived in Tucson for 5 years and Brooklyn was my favorite for awesome pizza and garlic knots. I make a point to go there every time I visit Tucson. The sauce is perfect, the cheese is just greasy enough but not too much, and the crust is not too chewy to crunchy. When I was in college, there were many attractive young men who worked there which added appeal to the place. ;) Now it's mostly girls. Just an aside. ;)

Big slices just like NYC Little Italy. Having lived in Lower Manhattan NYC, I can say that this is some of the best pizza I have every eaten.

They make your food to order. You give your name (clean up those outstanding warrents first!) and they will call you when you oven-fresh slice is ready. Every thing that I and my friends order there is yummy!

Staff is civil and the place is usually crowded, which is a good sign.

Hand-tossed, stone-oven-fired pies at a funky Fourth Avenue locale.. The Scene
This touch of New York attracts the usual young, artsy crowd that hangs out on busy 4th Avenue. Order at the counter and watch your pizza being hand-tossed and baked in the stone oven. The small, brightly painted dining room holds mismatched tables and provides a view out onto the street--a perfect spot for people watching. Piped-in jazz and acid jazz complete the funky atmosphere.

The Food
Choose from imaginative calzones, pastas and heroes filled with various meats, cheeses and veggies. The Roast Beast hero tops roast beef with Provolone, horseradish, mayonnaise, lettuce and tomato for a full and hearty sandwich. For vegans, a cheeseless veggie calzone stands out among the vegetarian fare. The real draw, though, is the pizza: from regular pies, deep-dish, and square Sicilians, all come in one size--16 inches. Choose toppings from the standbys (pepperoni and mushrooms) or more adventurous items (potatoes and jalape?os).

Very good pizza!. I really recommend ordering for lunch since they have great prices for lunch. Pizza has always been good and the slices huge! Try it!

Hand Tossed. This is an awesome joint. Very popular and I can see why. The pizza is fresh and hand-tossed in front of you. You get a lot for your money. My only complaint is that they didn't put enough sauce on my pizza. I will ask for extra sauce next time. If you like beer they sell that to go as well.

Like pizza? This is as good as it gets. After riding the Harley from Missouri to visit friends in Tucson, Brooklyn Pizza Co. was one the "MUST EAT HERE" places that David & Mary told me about. So...one day David and I went in for lunch. What can I say? GREAT pizza..GREAT/FRIENDLY service...GREAT place to "eyeball" and "take in" what is there on 4th. Avenue. You folks in Tucson are lucky to have such outstanding food places at your service. And Brooklyn Pizza Co. is just that: OUTSTANDING!!! (Worth that long hot ride from Linn, Missouri).

It's a Miracle, Brooklyn in Tuscon?. I couldn't believe it....NY style pizza out west....If I would close my eyes I would think I was in Alphabet City in NY...The crowd is the same (a bunch of kids with tattoos and strange hairstyles) funky furnishings but....the same pizza... I heard somewhere that the reason why pizza places outside of NY can't duplicate NY Pizza is because the water is different....yeah right!!! Brooklyn Pizza in Tuscon has done it...and done it well...they even have a pizza called Flatbush Feast....come on, how Brooklyn can you get?? Why can't other pizza places do that, especially the ones that call themselves NY Pizza???

If you are in Tuscon...go directly to 4th Avenue and come back to Brooklyn..

The Best Pie in Town. This is my favorite place for pizza. They are always playing good music. Even plain old cheese pizza is awesome. Try the garlic knots. Also, they have a full moon special, happy hour, and they are open late for hungry bar hoppers after last call.

Tasty. Being a New Yorker, I know pizza real well, and I would highly recommend Brooklyn Pizza as one of the closest to the tasty New York style pizza.
