I unfortunately have had a number of issues with the house and needed their help. They exceeded my expectations with their promptness, professionalism, and kindness. Their vendors have been excellent and can not say enough about EMS themselves. As far as breaking a lease a contract is signed by both parties with no questions to be asked. My contract was very clear and I knew what I was getting into. Maybe next time you should take the time to read it.I will recommend EMS again and again and buy my next home from them if we are so lucky to stay in Tucson!
EMS Realty is an unprofessional company. I rented through EMS for one year. They are an unprofessional organization that I will never, ever do business with again. We had to fight them for everything. We learned quickly that we had to communicate with them by certified mail always stating AZ rental laws to help them understand. Every time we call them, a new broker will be managing your property. I am glad that I am not entrusting them with my property! You will surely have renters that never come back to your house!
Stay away from this agency. I just recently moved from a home I rented from EMS. Our lease ended October 1st 2009. We lived there 2 years. Through out the 2 years EMS failed to respond to repairs needed promptly. They would take days sometimes weeks at a time to return calls regarding repairs. If you go into that office you will find a group of middle aged woman dressed like they are in their early twenties and acting like they are in their early twenties. We started of dealing with a Kelly and then went to a Yolanda and then to a Dora and finally dealt with Lori. That alone tells you people in that office don't last. For our move out inspection Lori had to actually call me for directions to our house, yet she was there the year before to do a yearly inspection. Then when we moved out a month later we get a letter saying we were being evicted for non payment of rent for the month of October yet we moved out in September. So that pretty much tells you that these woman in that office have no clue as to whats going on. We finally recieved our security deposit back and they returned 55.00 of 1475.00 which is crazy because we left the house clean and with no damage other then normal wear and tear, but its ok because I work for a legal firm and Im in the process of taking EMS to court to sue for the remainder of my deposit or at least whats fair. 55.00 dollars is far from fair for a house that was left in good condition. Lori was also very rude the minute we told her we wanted to move out. The home continues to be for rent and probably will be because the area is bad. Dont bother with EMS they are clueless and unproffessional in more ways then one.
Don't Rent from EMS Realty. I have never written a review but since I have had so many problems with this realty company I felt I should let others know that once you sign the rental agreement they turn off the charm. They have misplaced my rent check twice, then called me at work to demand payment and then when they finally realized (on both occasions) that their accounting office had the checks but just hadn't deposited them they didn't even have the courtesy to apologize for the inconvenience that they created for me. Also, I called them regarding a critical repair to my rental and I had to call their office three times to get them to finally followup and send a repairman. VERY unprofessional as a whole. Save yourself the headache and rent elsewhere.
