Nice Atmosphere, Food Overpriced & Hair found!. My Wife and I went there for the first time and possibly the last time! No It is the last time!! We orderd two large drinks, mine when I was given the drink was only 75 percent full! And we ordered 2 slices of pizza, After getting impatient of being there 45 mins we went to the front to ask for our food. It was like sitting there no one called our name and I am not sure how long it was there. Well for the price slices were Ok but before I could take my second bite I found what looked like a Pubic Hair! I spit my food out and was disgusted! I was on a time schedule for work so I had no time to complain and ask for my money back and after paying $19.09 for two slices of pizza and two drinks I will never step foot into this place and I will make sure I give this place a serious bad review to who ever I talk too!!!
They almost closed them down for being dirty, no thanks.
The authorities went in and nailed them for filthy conditions
It was on the news
Why would I eat there ?
Never again
Good atmosphere & food, service not so hot. After reading the previous reviews, my wife and I had a bit of trepidation before checking this place out, but we wanted to see for ourselves. The atmosphere is very nice, and the tall frosty mugs of beer were great, too, so we were pumped at first. As previously mentioned, the wait for the food was long, and when our name was called, no pizza was in sight. So we waited, and waited, and finally (about an hour after we ordered and after many people after us were served) a server asked us if our pizza was ready yet. We said "no", so he went to check, and sure enough, it had been "lost" somewhere in the kitchen, so it was cold, hard, and less than great. When the server asked us how everything was and we told him, all he said was "Oh lord" and took off. Probably if we had been given our pizza when it was actually ready, and if our server was a little more helpful, this would've been worth the wait, but as it is, I'm not too sure about a return trip anytime soon.
Disagree. While I really enjoy the romantic date-like ambience at Mama's, but the food is very expensive for what it is...just pizza/sandwiches. Furthermore my husband and I have often spent more than an hour and a half just waiting for a slice. ---On several occasions! Unless we have a few hours to kill, we usually nix Mama's from our Fri, Sat night outings.
Good Times, Good Eats. Mama's Pizza is great food at prices anyone can afford. For lunch you can have a slice of pizza that you need to eat on the pizza tray they give you it is SOO LARGE! And it is under 5 dollars. I have taken out-of-towners to there and they love the food, love the atmosphere and it didn't cost me an arm and a leg! The one at Oracle and Magee has a fountain in the middle and plays great music all the time. The people are freindly, no matter if you call in for delivery, take out, or just walk in. I highly recomend you visiting it!!
