Thank You Tucson Citizen. We read the review in the Tucson Citizen ("Worthy of its namesake") on 09/20/06. Thank you for turning us on to this fantastic restaurant. It is a very beautiful Italian restaurant, but they make you feel at home. My kids loved the pizza and the raviolis. My husband and I had the Veal Marsala that the Tucson Citizen recommended in their article, and it was scrumptious. For dessert we had the Italian donuts, the only thing I can say is WOW! We also shared the Tiramisu, and this was probably the best we've had outside of New York. Thank You Tucson Citizen!!!
Editorial Review. Homemade hearty Italian specialties have pulled in a steady local crowd for years at this romantic, family run restaurant.
Natalie. We ordered the Ahi, which was raw in the middle. We also ordered the Fettucine Alfredo which was dry and completely stuck together. ALL the fettucine came out of the bowl at once. I ordered shrimp sauteed with mushrooms, bacon and tomatoes, poured over fettucine with marinara. THIS was a great dish!! We would have sent back the Ahi and the Alfredo, but it was difficult to catch our waitress. The lady at the register, left alot to be desired, personality wise. She ignored us while she sorted the receipts. She didn't bother to ask how everything was, say 'Thank you', or 'Have a good night'. Telling her anything obviously wasn't an option, since she was tooooo busy to ask how things were. I guess dining here MUST be a hit and miss experience, but at these prices, I would expect alot more of the food quality, service and friendliness.
The Best Italian Restaurant In Town. Michelangelo's is the best Italian Restaurant in town. The atmosphere is perfect, the service is fabulous, and the prices are right! The food is excellent.
That's Amore. We were turned on to this place by our friends over two years ago. We enjoy the great food along with the friendly service. One of our favorite entrees is the Miale Modena, a must try on your next visit. Also mouthwatering desserts and an incredible wine list.
