Editorial Review for La Salsa Fresh Mexican Grill – by Robyn Galbos
In Short
Founded in 1979 in Los Angeles, La Salsa has grown into a chain of quick-serve, taqueria-style restaurants. Specializing in soft-shell tacos and other Mexican favorites, the restaurant's hallmark is its salsa bar that allows customers to choose their toppings. Menu offerings include a variety of fish, meat and veggie tacos, plus burritos, quesadillas and salads. Entree-sized meal platters--like the enchilada plate or three-pepper fajita platter--come with rice, beans, chips and salsa.

The best in fast food mexican restaurants that you will find anywhere. The food is fresh and that fresh salsa bar is beyond excellent. The El Champion chicken burrito rivals is superior to most of the highly touted Tucson restaurants, especially for the price. The best habanero salsa you will ever have. Yes, it is hot but the flavor of the habanero salsa is the best I have had in North or South America.
Pros: Habanero Salsa
Cons: None
