Great Place for Tourists. We were in town on business meeting and searched for an authentic "hole-in-the-wall" restaurant. However, time did not allow it, so this was a good substitute. The waiter even spoke spanish....

An old family favorite. Macayo's is an old family restaurant in Phoenix. They have done quite well as a chain and the quality and service is still very good for a chain. Always prompt seating and very good chips and salsa. This is where you want to take your midwestern friends for fried burritos. The Macayo's chimichanga is always prepared well and a favorite for those folks that don't like it too spicy. They have new innovative items for the heat concious too.

Okay, not great. Tried it when I first moved to Tucson, have not been back. It was not anything special but the atmosphere was nice.
