If you really want to see Tucson.... 7 Black Cats is a bar with live music where local hipsters hang out. If you really want to experience Tucson the non-tourist way, go here and enjoy the sounds of live, mostly local bands. While the acoustics are not the best, the experience is worth it.

In the mood for live music, a frothy brew and colorful personalities? This downtown bar has 'em all.. The Scene
The building is deep and narrow, the ceiling is vaulted, and the dress code is a mix of trendy and casual. Pull up a rickety chair or a glittery vinyl stool and groove to hip-hop, funk, punk and soul from live local regulars like Pitchfork Nancy and Greyhound Soul. Stroll up the creaky stairs to the loft, lounge on cushioned, oblong furniture and ponder the meaning of life. Or ponder why there are doors hanging from the rafters.

The Draw
Why drink here if the bar serves only wine and beer? Because 7 Black Cats is known for stocking more than 60 international lagers, ales, ciders and stouts. Try a 22-ounce Arrogant Bastard Ale, Grolsch Lager from the Netherlands or an organic Wolaver's Pale Ale.
